Lynsey Cleaver
Artist for Visual Biography Section - Memory Cupboards
Lynsey Cleaver is a self employed commercial muralist and conceptual artist specialising in
assemblage and collage based works. She graduated from Coventry University in 1998
specialising in fine art and continued on to a Masters degree by research in the History of Art at
the University of Warwick.
Since graduating in 2000, Lynsey has worked in several part time teaching posts lecturing in Art
History, Sculpture and Painting at both Warwickshire College campuses in Leamington Spa and
Stratford upon Avon. Since 2002 Lynsey has also run her own business, Painted Interiors by
Design, working as a specialist painter and muralist, carrying out art based private and
commercial projects both in the UK and abroad. She continues to make and exhibit her own
conceptual based works.
